About Laura Lippay

Laura's art welcomes the viewer to ignite their own imagination; an invitation to glimpse our surroundings with color and curiosity, and to see the world through the eyes of someone who can't get enough of it.  Laura aims to bring out the inner sparkles of light in velvety souls, and inspire introspection and contemplation alongside playfulness, romanticism and fortitude.

Much of her creative side is fueled by spending time in cities, deserts, mountain towns and small towns around the world, being inspired by rebellious and magnificent people, seeking adventures at every chance, and constantly exploring the edges.

Before becoming a full time artist in 2024, Laura was (and still moonlights in) tech for 25 years, 18 of which were in Silicon Valley. She's received a variety of art instruction via advertising design studies, graphic design studies, and select courses from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture in Philadelphia.

She works primarily with oil, acrylic and occasionally watercolor and ink, always exploring a variety of techniques.

Laura's works can often be found at Up Front Exhibition Space in New York, Artery Gallery in Milford, PA, White Space Gallery in Hackettstown, NJ, Wayne County Arts Alliance in Honesdale, PA and/or Gamut Art Gallery in the Pocono Mountains. She is a working partner at The Artery Gallery in Milford, PA, and a previous member of Go Collaborative, a non-profit that brings artistic life to Stroudsburg, PA, where she currently has a mural on display at Ann Street Park.

Curious, by both definitions.
